Joshua Coombe

I am 16 years old and I play the drums. I have been playing the drums for 10 years and I managed to achieve a grade 4 before I decided to focus on performance techniques. I took Music as a GCSE and managed to achieve a B grade and now I am studying Music grade 3 Btec at sixth form. I like Rock music and this is, mainly, what I enjoy to play. My favorite artists are AC/DC, Paramore and Everything Everything.

Ed Larkin

Ed is 17 and he is the vocalist in our group. He has a grade 8 in musical theater (Vocalist) with London collage of music. He achieved a merit at level 2 music BTEC. He has a very eclectic music taste ranging from classical music to prog metal. He also can play the drums so he is very good with keeping in time. He is a very good vocalist however I think he could push himself even more to become better still.     

Pete Alexander

Peter Alexander is 16 years old and in our little band he will be playing Piano and Accordion. He has played piano for 11 years but he has not taken any grades in this instrument. He has played guitar for 5 years, Bass for 4 years, piano accordion for 3 and Tin flute for 1. He has taken part in a lot of musical theatre productions in which he had to sing and play instruments and he has played the piano in the school jazz band for 5 years. He passed a grade 5 theory exam and managed to get an A* at music GCSE.

His main influences in music have come from musical theatre and classical music as they were what he performed when he was growing up but recently he has been more influenced by Jazz and Folk music because of his part in the school Jazz Band and the fact that he is playing more folkey instruments respectively.

Georgina Hiles

Georgina is the band's guitarist and vocalist. She has played guitar for 7 years and singing as long as she can remember and is often seen performing these two in tandem. She has taken part in most of the school's concerts, often as part of a duet, performing self written songs along side another vocalist and pianist. She has also been involved with a lot of the school's drama performances in which she has done a combination of singing and acting. She got a B at music GCSE

Her main influences in music have been country and folk because they often feature a set of instruments that she can reproduce well with her melody and accompaniment style. She also says that she doesn't have any particular style she takes her inspiration from. She will listen to any artist from any genre and take any part of there style that she likes.
